Have You Seen This? Viral 'gorilla vs. 100 men' debate reaches RSL

THE IMAGINARY ARENA — If you've opened social media over the last week, odds are you've seen some mention of a very important, very serious debate underway.

Could 100 men beat a gorilla?

Podcasts and comment threads around the world have discussed the crucial matter, and the Real Salt Lake social media manager decided to pose the question to the Claret and Cobalt.

Deep thinkers Philip Quinton and Lachlan Brook attempted to deconstruct the rules and possibilities of the hypothetical battle, but defender Alex Katranis had a much simpler and straightforward approach: showing a photo of a fully-grown gorilla to the camera.

"Look at the size of it, Phil!" Brook desperately exclaimed while gesturing toward the terrifying image on the phone screen.

For now, the better question for the 4-7 team may be whether 11 RSL players can beat 11 other MLS players on a consistent basis.
